Today, I registered Poker Tracker. Setup the PostgrSQL server, only listening on 127.0.0.1 and created SSH tunnels to access the data from home or anywhere else. SSH Tunnles… ooooh. I could have written something like PT, but I would have taken a lot of time and I figured, why waste the time writing my own, when PT is pretty damn cheap.
Rini posted today that there are people who think PT is rigged. It’s just showing stats, it’s not like you could look at the data you feed it and do the math yourself.
Also, my In-Laws stayed for a week and for my Birthday they bought me Phil Gordon’s Little Green Book and Brunson’s Online Poker book. My Father In-Law watched me play in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Satellite for almost 10 minutes and I think was amazed by the power of the internets.
