As the wife slept in today, I was able to have a little me time. So I found a good OS X feed reader and loaded up all of the poker bloggers that attended the WPBT Winter Classic. After that I played a little bit on FullTilt and as I knew that I didn’t have a lot of time as my wife was now up and making breakfast. I sat down at a $0.10/$0.25 table and after about seven hands I had doubled my buy in. Then the wife calls for breakfast and I had to leave the table. Kind of a cheap ass way to have a winning session, but it’s not like I sat down, stole the blinds and bailed, I had doubled my buy in.
As much as I enjoyed my time with the other bloggers, I don’t feel like I’m one of the in crowd. Just about every day on some poker bloggers site, they played with a bunch of other bloggers. I guess I need to start playing more in Wil’s ‘Worlds Biggest Home Game’ more often. Just sucks that the main event starts when I still have an hour and a half left at work.
In about 45 minutes, I’ll be off the the local home game here. I’ll post again after that…
