… in a previous post, this message does not end it failure! I played a few $5.50 SnG on Full Tilt, played well, but never in the money. So I went back to my old stomping grounds, Heads Up No Limit Texas Hold’Em. With only 10% of my Donkey Challenge Bankroll left, I played a $10+$0.50 Heads Up No Limit game. After about 10 minutes, victory was mine. So I played another one and won that game after about 10 minutes as well. Up until this point, I’d played my two heads up matches and finished them both before the time I was out of any of the 9 player SnG’s. So feeling quite dandy, I play another $10+$0.50 Heads up NLTH.
Game Over. First. Hand. I had the better kicker. I just had a feeling that I was being pushed off the pot … and I would have been crippled if I had folded, so I called the all in. Donkey 2D6+2?
Donkey Challenge Update:
Bankroll: $39.90 [-73.4% EV] Goal: $450
Oh yea.. I saw someone hit a Royal Flush on FTP.. flopped it. Won a whopping $0.25, so the Lord Admiral Crew is correct. I haven’t seem anyone double up on a Royal Flush, let alone with someone holding three jacks and a pair of nines…..
Update: 2006/01/23 8:04am
After another go this morning at the $10+$0.50 Heads Up NLTH, I’m on my fourth straight win. Four more and I’m moving up a level.
Donkey Challenge Update:
Bankroll: $49.40 [-67.06% EV] Goal: $450
