Since the beginning of the year, my play overall, is pretty weak. Yes suckouts are not fun, but I’m the one that put myself into that position. I can honestly say that my heads up play is solely responsible for whatever bankroll I have.

For example, out of the 32 SnG’s that I’ve played this year, I’ve placed in the money 9 times, or 28% of the time. Eight of the finishes were from Heads Up SnG. I’ve played 10 NLTH Heads Up matches. Hell this morning, I suffered my only two losses at heads up play, playing at the $10+$0.50 table. One of which was a Full House over Full House. I can respect that.

So just like any self-respecting degenerate gambler, I’ll move up a level to get my losses back, minus the buy in, in one swoop. That’s exactly what I did. Played my game the same way, once the cards hit the virtual felt, the money aspect was gone. All that was left was, how can I out play this person. Sure the cards help, but most cases the cards didn’t matter. I always showed my monsters. Maybe I’m playing against beginner players, as the $10 heads up is only one level above the smallest level you can play.

Maybe, I’m just good at playing heads up.
