I don’t know how much more I can take…
Categories: PokerThe past few days have really sucked the poker life out of me. I’ve seen my FTP bank roll shrink to a third of it’s size, down to less than $50, suffered shitty 2 outer loses, always having my loot in when I’m way ahead, only to get sucked out. After my terrible play on Saturday, I came back with focus, to not play as many hands and stick to the newb tight is right play. That doesn’t do a lot of good, when the good cards rarely show up and when they do, the flop is all one suit and you have pocket Queens and none of them are the suit on the board. It’s really hard to think that I’m playing the cards right, when I haven’t bubbled in the last 7 SnG’s and 3 tournaments. I’m starting to think that the lower levels of poker are not skill based at all, just a complete luckfest.
The next tournament I play is the Hammer out Cancer tournament. I have to do well, or I’ll become Andy Beal and I’ll have to drop out of a while.
Actually, I won’t have a choice.
