Last night was a blast! I love playing the the WPBT events, as the people are so damn cool. I played ok.. I did have a last longer bet with LaParKa, which I won
$2 smackers! That’s two prop bets in a row that I’ve won! There were a few times where there was a possible flush on the board, when I had trips, so those were a little hard to let go, so I paid off the flushes. I need to pay attention a bit more, but I was watching TV with the wife at the same time. I had raised a short stack without looking at his chips and when he re-raised me, I had to fold my 46o. Why did I try and steal a pot from a short stack with crap? That’s a big no-no.
In the second level, I hit something that I never thought I’d get.. I was once on the losing end of the hand, but this time, I hit the miracle.. a Royal Flush!

Unfortunately I was unable to get a proper screen shot, as the VNC connection that I was using had a small lag and I didn’t have a OS X screen grabber open, so that’s why there is a PokerTracker version of the hand. Why can’t OS X have a 1-Key screen shot app?
In the end, I lost when the most powerful hand in poker, that’s right kids, the Hammer, fell to darval’s pocket tens. I only had an M of 5ish, and 3xBB was a third of my stack. Of course I should have folded, but I had a lot of success with the hammer earlier. Nothing says it better than this:
TonySopran0: folds
willwonka: folds
StatikKling: raises 3150 to 3550 and is all-in
Budohorseman: folds
Drizztdj: folds
IlliniFan: folds

StatikKling: shows [7♠ 2♥]

Congrats to TonySopran0 who won the event on a deal, while having a massive chip lead. Something like 180k to 40k.
