Last night, with a few WPBT’ers (Drizztdj, Gracie, AprilTX (?), Good23 (?)), I started my quest for the WSOP Event #17. The el cheapo way. Spend $8 to get a $26 token ( or peep ), use token to win in any of the 5k, 6.5k, 8k, 9k, 17k, 18k or 19k, or enter a satellite to the 200k tourney and place there. I figure, if everyone is entering the WSOP satellites that the Guarentee Tourney’s should be a bit softer. I could be wrong, but that’s my plan.
Well.. Drizztdj did very well.. he got himself a peep. Gracie and myself are probably the only two WPBT’ers to not receive a peep, but not for the lack of trying. I think Gracie bubbled out of the two peeps, I placed 8th (short stack and soooted K8 against QQ) and 14th (QQ vs. KK all in pre flop). These peeps are essential to my plan. I will not be peepless for long!
To keep the bankroll up, I entered into a $10+$1 SnG and came back from @ T700 with 5 players remaining to taking the SnG. That’s at least 5 more peep attempts.

PS: The really funny thing is, my wife, is DEATHLY. afraid. of. peeps.
