Stupid power cells and county wide power outages. Funny, just two weeks ago we were without power all night long so the power company could take measures, or replace old parts so a non plan power outage would be less likely. Guess it didn’t work, or that was one bad ass power outage.

In other news.. man I’m really starting to like PLO8! Did fairly well in the WPBT even over the past weekend a few good hands and scoops had me the chip leader for a while.. until I donked most of it off to bdiddie with a total rookie move. I used two cards from the board and three from my hand, or the exact opposite of what you are supposed to do. So, I thought I had a straight and bdiddie HAD a boat. What was his quote? “Thank you for showing us what drawing dead looks like.” You sir, are welcome. I made a pretty strong comeback to eventually place third, my first cash in an online WPBT event.

The last night, I took PokerRoom’s ‘come and play with us’ loot and sat all of it down on a $1/$1 PL table. I was willing to gamble hard, as it was not my loot, and 20 hands later I had tripled up.
