You know when you play poker, you are supposed to have little to no distractions so you can focus on your play? Well.. I said to hell with that, I have to work late, might as well play a little game of poker with some friends. Holy smokes that was a mistake. Started off pretty well sucking out on pocket Kings to river a set of nines to have a nice stack, only to piss it all away. But, I had fun, and sometimes that’s all that matters.
Dropped a buyin for Omaha Hi/Lo afterwards.. I don’t know why I continued to play knowing full well that I had other important things to work on.. but oh well. I can focus on poker while the wife is training for her new job in the next two weeks.
