I received an email from BoDog minutes ago that states the following:

Important Service Announcement

As you may already be aware, we are no longer able to process transactions from US
NETeller accounts. We know that you have used this method recently to fund your
account (XXXXXXX) and wanted to reassure you that payouts via NETeller can still be
requested and will continue to be processed to your NETeller account at this time.

I bet is has something to do with this, Neteller Execs Charged in Gambling Case.

Via Card Player

Poker sites had mixed responses to NETELLER’s move. PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, for instance, followed the NETELLER ban exactly and now prevent users from funding their accounts using InstaCash. Bodog, on the other hand, took a more drastic stance and disallowed players from using NETELLER at all, even with funds currently in their NETELLER accounts. - read full article

So.. me thinks that BoDog jumped the gun on NETeller’s downfall and blocked the whole operation.

UPDATE: NETeller will no longer transfer funds to and from online poker sties, via Neteller:

US Member Update

Effective Immediately

Due to recent US legislative changes and events, effective immediately, US members are no longer able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling sites.

All US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account to safely transfer funds to and from non-gambling merchants and are not required to close their account or withdraw their funds.

So, while it’s true that NETeller isn’t going away, it’s just useless for online poker.
