Yup.. The Tao of Poker was mentioned in the latest issue of Card Player Magazine, Vol. 20 Issue #2, for February 6th 2007 on page 52. The kicker, it’s not THE Tao of Poker, by the great Dr. Pauly.

Card Player is quoting Larry Phillips book, The Tao of Poker: 285 Rules to Transform Your Game and Your Life published on March 2003 and Pauly’s blog archives only go back to August 2003, a few months after the book came out.

I wonder if Pauly knew about the book when he launched his blog. Either way, at least I now know which came first. Too bad this post isn’t a shocking expose.
