The last few days have been a welcome boost to my online bankroll. I sat down at a $1/$2 (max 6) no limit table and by the second hand, I spotted a aggressive maniac that would make pot sized bets if he had a draw or any piece of the pot. Both hands had gone to showdown where the maniac lost both pots. Third hand I had pocket Kings, which held up and I took down a huge (for me) $85 pot. The next hand I get pocket tens and this time there are three players that see the showdown. The river brings me another Ten, giving me my biggest online pot ever of $110. Within the first 6 hands of sitting down at the table, I had tripled my buy in. I played in a few tournaments after that with nothing worth noting, other than I did better than average.
The next day, I sat down at two $1/$2 limit tables. Within two hours I had more than doubled my buy ins at both tables. My bankroll has hit a new high and I hope to see it grow further. Hopefully this upswing will last a while longer. I’m enjoying the confidence boost.
