Random Updates
Categories: howto, linux, Poker, GeneralFor the HOWTO: Install and Use Poker Client in Linux, I’m in the process of getting installation media for ubuntu linux 7.04, on an old Dell Inspiron 2650 laptop.. So far any CD I burn, the damn drive will not recognize. I’m downloading the DVD file via bittorrent to see if it will read DVD’s (after all, it IS a DVD rom..) So hopefully I will update the howto to use ubuntu as well as Fedora Core [456].
For the 2007 Donkey Challenge, I think I have either completed or damn near close to completing the $10 level. I have been really bad about updating the DC page.
I also think it’s time to re-read Harrington v1 and v2. My tournament play has gone from ok to poor.

No worries hazillow. I got ubuntu installed on the laptop and I have the default deb version of wine installed and no surprise to me, got PokerStars up and running fine. I think I may be able to dive into getting BoDog running under ubuntu, since if I get BoDog running, everything else should be easy.

Did you ever get bodog on ubuntu? If so would be interested to know how you did it.
