Generate Full Tilt Summaries, or GFTS, has been updated to version v0.2.12. Please let me know if you have any issues by posting a comment here.
Changes:
- fix: Full Tilt changed the object of the Tournament Info button, this is now fixed.
- fix: Full Tilt changed the column numbering of the payouts window, this caused GFTS to not get the payouts for a tournament, now fixed
- LightCC made some requests for the auto export feature of GFTS, so now the Find Tourney Windows will also look up information about auto exporting tournaments. You can export all auto tournaments or all tournaments at any stage, running, completed.. it doesn’t matter!
- Added a remove button for the auto export list (requested by LightCC)

After the departure of Wil Wheaton’s Tuesday tournaments on PokerStars, there really hasn’t been a weekly tournament that has come in to fill the spot. Most of the weekly tournaments are difficult for me to enter at 6pm local time. If I leave work 5 minutes late, I miss the start of the tournament. That also means that my daily responsibilities (walk the dogs) doesn’t happen. To quote bdiddie:
I used to be a denizen of the Pacific Time Zone and bemoaned the number of tournies that started at 8 to 9:30 EST because I was never able to make it home from work in the 5 to 6:30 Pacific time slot necessary to play these.
Of course he is now in the poker gods chosen timezone so that is no longer an issue.. for him. For the rest of us, Starting in October, I have started the MFC weekly tournaments. Here are the details for The Beginning:
Name: MFC: The Beginning
When: Oct 2nd, 10 pm ET
Game: NLHE
Buy-In: $10+1
Password: colgate

I may up the time to 11pm or 11:30pm ET for the following weeks, just in case there is traffic on the way home. So I’m hoping this will be a nice weekly tournament for us left coasters..

Full Tilt kicked my ass tonight. Badly. So I said ‘Hello’ to PokerStars. PokerStars said hello back the nicest way possible..

Other than that… Tournaments and SnG’s are teh suck right now. If I didn’t enter any of the tournies that I did tonight, I would have doubled my bankroll. Instead I broke even.
But I learned that I need to brush up on my tournament play. I learned that I really like limit holdem.
Another item to note, I had Aces and Kings back to back that were cracked on the river, by the same player.
Ooooh.. this hand JUST happened!

Most likely the next hand of poker I will play is the Winter Classic, or any WPBT event that gets more than 7 players, fucking slackers.
Bubble, bubble, go in with the best hand, leave empty handed. I’ve hit my limit and I can’t take it anymore. I’m done wasting my time. I’m slightly improving, but zero results. I’m just going to focus on software for the rest of the year, so something will actually get done and I can’t get sucked out on. (Well.. I gues the computer could crash.. already have one box smoke this past month.)
And to top it off, it’s 110 degrees today and I’m guaranteed a third $450 electric bill in a row. Normally $80. Fuck Summer.

Instead of taking my buck twenty something and finishing off the donktastic poker tour that I have been on, I thought it would be best to start on some poker software that is lacking for the mac.
I really like the PokerAce Heads Up Display idea, so I started to write one for the Mac.
After a couple of hours of programming, I have a basic window that actually works. I tested it with Observation data from Full Tilt.
So far, here is an extremely basic, non final version, of the main window.

and the matching FTP Hand History Window..

There are a few things left that I’d like to do before I request beta testers.
As I said near the top of this post, this will be for OS X players, since windows has a shit-ton of software available for use. This little app will also become part of a much larger project. Shh.. don’t tell anyone.
