Well.. if I can’t play poker.. Write software!
Categories: Software, PokerInstead of taking my buck twenty something and finishing off the donktastic poker tour that I have been on, I thought it would be best to start on some poker software that is lacking for the mac.
I really like the PokerAce Heads Up Display idea, so I started to write one for the Mac.
After a couple of hours of programming, I have a basic window that actually works. I tested it with Observation data from Full Tilt.
So far, here is an extremely basic, non final version, of the main window.

and the matching FTP Hand History Window..

There are a few things left that I’d like to do before I request beta testers.
As I said near the top of this post, this will be for OS X players, since windows has a shit-ton of software available for use. This little app will also become part of a much larger project. Shh.. don’t tell anyone.

Faramir,
I’ll definitely keep you in mind. The goal is to have a PokerTracker-like suite for the Mac. The choice is so limited and non-complete, it’s not even funny.
