I was on my way.. I made it up to just shy of $20 and tried a $5 SnG.. out in the first hand.. JJ vs AA first. Tried the $5 SnG again.. made it to the third level before I got it in great.. until a player hit a two outer. Had some small victories but mostly right move, wrong time or I’m ahead bu 85%+ and my opponent hits his/her 15%- to beat me. I think I’m down to seven cents now.

After all, it’s ALL because of donkeys, and yes, I am lumping myself there. Here’s a good example. I’m playing solid poker.. fairly tight and 45 minutes into a $2 SnG, the final $2 SnG I played I get K♥Q♥ on the button at three limpers. I bet pot and get two callers, the SB and a MP player. The Flop is Q high rainbow. The action goes pot sized bet, All in.. now it’s up to me. Looking back, holy fuck, I’m beat. AQ, QQ, KK, AA are all possible hands that the SB and MP players could have.. But I’m stubborn, there’s no way they have AQ.. and that’s the only hand I think about in the 6 seconds I waited to call the all in. No way any of them have AQ.. the SB calls and the SB AND MP flip over AQ. Turn is A♠ and the fuck you river is a K♣ for insult. But that’s what I get for not taking the time to really think things through that I do when I play live. Online poker to me is just a game. For some reason my head thinks that live poker is MORE than a game.

I need to do more thinking and reading.. so that’s what I have been doing. Re reading Harrington, Pressure Poker etc. I will either make a glorious return, or repeat history and suck eggs. We shall see.
